I’ve been going to family smiles for almost a year now; my daughter had her first visit at 23 months and has her follow up coming up (that she is extremely excited for) and my husband, who has been going to the same dentist for 6 years is now a convert to Family Smiles— they are that good.
The customer service is spectacular; my family feels so welcome every time we come. For toddler appointments, the doctor professionally and expertly made my cautious toddler feel constable. They have a great play area for children to play before. As a result, my daughter points and tries to get me to take her to Family Smiles whenever we go to the Kroger in the same parking lot.
My husband was also at our daughter’s first dentist appointment and was so impressed that he switched to Family Dentist.
I have had great dentist in the past, but Family Smiles really is the best. They listen to the concerns I’ve had for my teeth and reassured us on what to do for our daughter while also letting us know we are doing great as parents. Can’t recommend them enough.

Meet Doctor Tyler Carlson
As an undergraduate student at Brigham Young University, Dr. Tyler Carlson was asked to help out at an event providing free dental care for underprivileged children. He was so moved by his experience that he decided to pursue a career in dentistry and attended A.T. Still University Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
Having been with the Community Dental Partners for five years, Dr. Carlson is now a CDP Doctor Owner, and is the Head of CDP’s Clinical Executive Committee where he has the privilege of monitoring new graduates, supporting our existing doctors, and organizing the Ultimate Dentist Professional Group.
